As a prosecutor, I have a unique opportunity to impact our community in several ways. Tough prosecutors make for safer communities and can also provide an opportunity for crime victims to be heard.

My desire to become a prosecutor began in college. I had the opportunity to shadow and learn from homicide and drug prosecutors in Allegheny County. These experiences forged my desire to specialize in these areas.

As your District Attorney, I believe in the Constitution and promise to enforce the legitimately enacted laws of this Commonwealth — without personal bias or prejudice.

First as a prosecutor and now as District Attorney, I have taken an oath to support the United States and Pennsylvania Constitutions. I
have sworn to abstain from any activities that promote violence against the government or those whose political opinions differ from my own.

This is an oath that I take seriously and is now more important than ever with extremists on both sides of the political aisle engaging in violent acts against those, they disagree with.
